Hiatus + mental health + posting art
I’m sure you all have noticed I’m not as active as I used to be. In all honesty I’ve been active on Discord more often, but I’ve been struggling with my depression, which is why I haven’t been posting anything lately. The need to be meticulously detail-oriented with little recognition — with the addition of life getting in the way — has taken away my motivation to post art here on deviantART. I realized it doesn’t have to be the case. I have loved deviantART since I was in middle school, and I wish to keep using this platform for as long as this website stands. With that being said, I wish to work on an art project I’ve been meaning to do since I was in high school. An art project I’ve wanted to get started in ever since I was little. An art project that gave me a reason to join dA in the first place. I don’t care if what I do will gain any views or not. What matters is that I’m happy with what I do and that I’m showing it somehow. To my followers who remained following me: Thank you. I will see you all soon!
Project: Expose Me + You! Vol. 1
Hello everyone! Goodness...it's been four years since I did some art features. I'm not going to get into details as to why I discontinued the art feature series. I have my reasons, but it won't change a thing regardless if I tell it. So, it's once again time to feature your fellow artists here and showcase their amazing works! My initial goal was to feature 10 artists by the end of this month, but since not a lot of people participated, I personally picked some of my favorite artists that only have under 1k watchers and their artworks (that have only have under 100 :+fav: s). They need more exposure for their talents! Before I begin, thank you all to those who participated, and to those who recommended artists for me to feature. Without further ado, let's begin!
